Posters

Those attending the symposium are encouraged to contribute posters.

All topics in the area of evolutionary / comparative genomics -- experimental, bioinformatic, or theoretical nature, or a mixture of these – are welcome, as are results relevant to both prokaryotes and eukaryotes.

Poster abstracts should be submitted via email as a Word document (no PDF files please) to Judy Warner (email) after January 15, 2007 according to the guidelines below.

However, note that if you are applying for a grant, then a copy of your abstract should also be sent to Eva Allen by April 1. Visit the Grants page for more information.

Abstract format:

• Send text only (no diagrams).
• Abstracts should be no more than 200 words.
• Single spacing, Arial font, 10 point.
• First line: title in bold lower case.
• Second line: the author(s)' name(s) in upper case. Underline the name of the author presenting the work.
• Third line: full address of the institution(s) where the work was carried out, in italic lower case.
• Leave a blank line after the address and before the main text.

Poster format:

• Contributed posters may be no larger than 4 ft (122 cm) wide.
