Many organisms across the tree of life have complex life cycles that include both sexual and asexual reproduction, or are obligately asexual. Our speakers have been applying both theory and empirical genomic and genetic studies to untangle the evolutionary effects of the amount and timing of sexual and asexual reproduction.
