Dr. Carlos Driscoll is Managing Editor of Journal of Heredity and Public Information Officer of the AGA. He is the first contact person for most questions about the society and its journal.
Carlos manages the Journal's online submission site, ScholarOne Manuscripts, manages the peer-review process, designs the Journal covers, and develops policies and plans with our publisher, Oxford University Press. Carlos assists the AGA President and Council in administering awards, conducting correspondence, managing the website and social media, and coordinating the annual symposium.

It will focus on advancements in marine mammal genomics, highlighting novel methods and applications in evolution, conservation, and emerging diseases, and integrating genomics with traditional knowledge.
