The Outstanding Student Paper Award for the best student paper published in AGA's Journal of Heredity includes a cash prize of $2,000.
Articles published in Volume 116, 2025, will be considered for the 2026 award. Award recipients receive a $2,000 prize, up to $1,500 toward expenses to attend the President's Symposium, and the opportunity to present their research at the Symposium.
